- Often, talking with a "stranger", or to a stranger - one we won't see, or won't see again, works very well:
anonymity. - Distance or busy lifestyle may prevent you from being able to access a coach/counsellor in person.
- It is SAFE - you are much less vulnerable - and trust is more easily established.
- avoids embarrassment due to blushing etc.
- Provides an opportunity to see how coaching works before seeing a counsellor in person.
- Anonymity appeals to many people because some may be more comfortable sharing very personal
information about themselves such as victims of abuse and trauma or when it comes to revealing
experiences that involve shame. - Immediate & Efficient - can write when thoughts or ideas come to you - don't have to wait until an
appointment. - Less "pressure" - able to take time to think of answers - no sense of "having to answer right away"
- The convenience of online coaching is a big draw for many as well - available 24/7!
- Reduces or eliminates travel (avoids losing work hours, bad weather driving, etc).
- Have doubts? Remember, many universities offer entire courses online. Feel free to write and ask
questions, with no obligation.

- LIMITATION: the absence of a face-to-face relationship. But the advantages far
outweigh the disadvantages.

- Using the telephone you can benefit from it, and yet maintain a relatively great amount of
"anonymity". - Telephone contact can be arranged if you so desire - but please remember the timezone

How to get started (counselling):
- In-person - email or call me to arrange an appointment.
- Online: email me. Once we have agreed to work together, we can begin immediately. At the same
time, you will mail a money-order for the amount agreed-upon. If after 5 working days it hasn't
arrived, further counselling will be suspended until it does arrive.

Coaching/Counselling:
Fees are based on a sliding scale of $45.00 - $90 per session (sliding scale adjusted to
ability to pay).
1 session = a minimum of one hour (it often runs longer than that):
