I salute you.
I am your friend and my love for you goes deep.
There is nothing I can give you which you have not got;
but there is much, very much, that while I cannot give it, you can take.

No Heaven can come to us unless our hearts find rest in today.
Take Heaven!

No peace lies in the future which is not hidden in this present little instance.
Take Peace!

The gloom of the world is but a shadow.
Behind it, yet with in our reach,
is Joy.

There is radiance and glory in the darkness . . .
could we but see and to see we have only to look.
I beseech you to look.

Life is so generous a giver, but we, judging its gifts by its covering,
cast them away as ugly or heavy or hard.

Remove the covering and you will find beneath it a living splendor,
woven of love,
by wisdom,
with power.

Welcome it, grasp it, and you touch the Angel's hand that brings it to you.

Everything we call a trail of a sorrow is there; the gift is there,
and the wonder of an overshadowing presence.

Our joys too: be not content with them as joys.
They too conceal diviner gifts.

Life is so full of meaning and purpose, so full of beauty . . .
beneath it's covering . . .
that you will find earth that cloaks heaven.

Courage then to claim it; that is all!
But courage you have,
and the knowledge that we are pilgrims together,
wending through unknown country,
home.

And so at this Christmas time,
I greet you.

Not quite as the world sends greetings,
but with profound esteem and with the prayer that for you,
now and forever,
  the day breaks,
          and the shadows flee away.

Christmas - -
that magic blanket that wraps itself about us,
that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance.

It may weave a spell of nostalgia.

Christmas may be a day of feasting,
or of prayer,

but always it will be a day of remembrance
--a day in which we think of everything
we have ever loved.

May Light grow (or return) in your life.

I wish you and yours

a wonderful, blessed Christmas.

Reflections on Sharing the True Meaning
of Christmas with Others
In a perfect world, the messages of the true meaning of Christmas
would be apparent to all of us.

Relationships with others would be easy, we would all get along, no sibling
rivalry would exist,
and we would never feel awkward
or uncomfortable with each other.

Since the real world doesn't operate like that,
does the true meaning of Christmas have no place in our broken world?
Yes, it does!
The True Meaning of Christmas involves the principles of the law of attraction:
they go hand in hand.

We get the things in our lives that we attract to ourselves.

If we go out into the world with negative attitudes,
we are given negative circumstances to deal with.

If, on the other hand, we focus only on the things we want in our lives
(good friends, loving family, and abundance),
we will attract circumstances to ourselves that will help us to reach those goals.

When we think about the true meaning of Christmas,
we are left with simple emotions that anyone can relate to.

We experience joy, hope, and love for others.

Let us strive to experience all the emotions associated
with the true meaning of Christmas in their purest
          and most wonderful forms.

We can feel joy that we are alive (no matter what our current circumstances),
hope for a better tomorrow,
and love for others
(whether we feel that they deserve it or not).

Experience the True Meaning of Christmas:
once you are in a mindset to attract positive feelings
  and circumstances toward yourself,
you can put these principles to work.

The wonderful thing about these good feelings and positive wishes
is that you can share them with others.

If you change one thing about yourself and your approach toward others,
it manifests into any number of positive results coming back to you.

If your relationships with friends,
family members or others have become strained,
keep the true meaning of Christmas in mind
and strive to mend fences and repair broken relationships.

Keep your focus on what you want
(a life of warmth, love, and abundance)
and approach these people with that mindset
  instead of anticipating problems.

          You can't change anyone else,
but you do have the power to change yourself.

Be warm, kind, and loving toward others,
and you are much more likely to be treated that way in return.

One of the lessons we learn as we think about the true meaning of Christmas
is that one event
(in this case, the birth of a very special child)
          can change the world.

We may not be able to change the entire world,
but the hope we feel in the true meaning of Christmas
tells us that we have the power to influence our
                          own small portion of it.
