dialogue and discussion with other spiritual people,
a place to write or request prayers,
Stella Maris may well be the place for you . . .
the answer to what you’ve been looking for.
Whether you are on a Vision Quest,
a newly begun spiritual journey,
or already far along your spiritual journey,
Stella Maris is a website that provides an on-line forum
for dialogue and discussion,
either through posted emails,
or directly in the chat area.
There is a blog area as well.
Stella Maris also provides an area for prayers, and prayer requests.
And has a space to post your favourite photos and graphics, and much more.
Stella Maris was begun by Fr. Klaas nearly 15 years ago in Yahoo Groups; an outgrowth of
former online networked BBS discussion groups. It was hosted by Fr. Klaas and the co-
host and administrator has been Claudia Weinstein.
But due to changing circumstances, that version of Stella Maris has outgrown Yahoo
Groups, and has been replaced with its own entirely new website.
That new Stella Maris website has been totally designed and constructed by Claudia
Weinstein, she is by far the most IT and technologically knowledgeable. She is, as well as
being a pianist and excellent singer, am amazing software wiz.
Stella Maris can mean “Star of the Sea”, as well as “Star of the Cosmos” (the cosmos has
often been viewed as a sea), but at the same time, the word “sea” also refers to that deep
inner place within us – the deep unconscious – where among others, our spiritual focus is.
Thus Stella Maris can also mean “Star, or 'Queen' of the Unconscious”.
that hidden, or “lost”, part of ourselves we are journeying to connect, or re-connect with.

There is a companion to the Stella Maris website on Facebook with fewer

The Facebook Version can be found by clicking the link.
Stella Maris is open to people from all walks of life, from all religious backgrounds, and for those
who have no organized religious affiliation whatsoever.
Spirituality is our main connection.
Be ready to join with others; and together share your experiences or discuss you have encountered –
anything that comes to mind in regard to spirituality.
We simply ask for respect of others’ views – as we ask them to respect yours. Stella Maris is not
the place to criticize or condemn – everyone has a view, everyone experiences the spiritual: God,
Higher Power, the Force or whatever one chooses to call it, in their own way.
We encourage the use of two words here – although it is by no means required.
One is “anamchara” [celtic] which means “soul friend” (often incorrectly misused as “soul-mate”).
The other is “Namaste”
It is a Hindu word, and pronounced "Nam-a-stay"; said in greeting used every day.
Roughly translated, this one word means;
I honour the place in you
in which the entire Universe dwells,
I honour the place in you
which is of Love, of Truth, of Light and of Peace,
When you are in that place in you,
and I am in that place in me,
we are One.
Namaste!
(Perhaps a short form would be, "I bow to the divine in you".)
We encourage and invite you to consider becoming a participating member of our community.
See you there, soon.
Music: Beautiful Mother - On This Day
Namaste.
May the Force be with you.
